The pattern does not peel or fade and stands up to heavy use. With this bow sling, you can carry your bow over your shoulder leaving your hands free. It easily slips off and on over your wheels/cams or limbs of your recurve or longbow with heavy leather loops. It detaches completely. There is nothing permanently attached to your bow.
